We all know eating a healthy diet, getting plenty of sleep and exercise while maintaining meaningful relationships can promote wellness – physical and emotional.
Even if we follow all these prescriptions, however, wellness may still evade us.
Graying hair. Loose skin. Low energy. Waning memory and bone density. Aging is a complex, degenerative process that each one of us experiences at varying degrees and intervals.
But what if you could minimize the degree of degeneration? Stretch out those intervals, if even just a bit? A regenerative boost may support all those efforts.
Your blood hosts billions of stem cells that hold the power to regenerate your skin, bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, connective joints, and even organs. Age and injury deplete these stem cells, decreasing their continuous blood circulation and regenerative potential.
For over 30 years, anti-aging researchers across the planet have been studying and developing ways to isolate and import younger cells to restore the structure and function of damaged tissue and organs: mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
At Novus Anti-aging Center, our highly skilled and compassionate stem cell therapy specialists will apply all the latest research and technology to help regenerate your aging cells, and potentially prevent the disease and injury that impede your overall wellness.
Whether you call it senescence or aging – the more wellness strategies you can employ, the more you can resist it. To start reclaiming your productive, pain-free lifestyle craft your customized stem cell treatment with a skilled, compassionate wellness specialist. Scientists call the aging process – the loss of a cell's ability to divide and grow – senescence. Telomeres are the caps at the end of our DNA strands that protect our chromosomes from damage; during senescence, they naturally shorten. When telomeres become critically short, cells die.
Stem cells are also your body's natural repairmen. When you are injured, stem cells travel to the injury site and repair the damage. As we age, our body's ability to produce stem cells diminishes, making tissue maintenance and regeneration much more difficult1.
With pro-inflammatory cytokines (chemical messengers secreted by certain immune system cells) abounding in older people, inflammation has also been shown to disrupt MSC function. These inflammatory disorders may be responsible for age-related conditions like osteoporosis1.
MSCs may be able to delay the shortening of your telomeres and consequential cell death while stimulating your damaged or aging cells to regenerate themselves. Regenerated cells are less likely to surrender to disease and injury.
MSCs' ability to transform a variety of cell types – bone, cartilage, muscle, and skin cells – may help our tissues recover from (and potentially even prevent) various aging factors, including sagging skin and bone density.
MSCs combat inflammation by sending commands through cytokines to repair damage and replace missing stem cells. This increases blood flow and growth factors in the inflamed area.
When we approach middle age or become injured, our adult bone marrow or fat stem cells no longer boast robust blood circulation, so we borrow stem cells from younger blood. Regenerative medicine specialists isolate MSCs from umbilical cords of newly delivered babies.
At Novus Anti-aging Center, we only use Mesenchymal Stem Cells from the highly potent Wharton's Jelly, which is only derived from live birth, umbilical cord tissue. This clear mucous tissue consists of mucopolysaccharides (sugars) that contain multipotent MSCs with very high regenerative potential.
All of our stem cell products are registered with the FDA and processed only in FDA approved labs using FDA guidelines.
Your treatment journey includes consultation, procedure, recovery, and follow-up.
During this visit, you'll discuss the details of your conditions, expectations, goals, and potential outcomes. Your Novus specialist will determine whether you are a good candidate for stem cell regenerative therapy. If you are, then a date for your procedure will be scheduled.
On the day of your stem cell therapy procedure, your provider may give you a local anesthetic to prevent any pain during the injections. Then, Mesenchymal Stem Cells will be injected directly into your damaged or aged tissue using ultrasound imaging guidance. You should feel little or no pain from these injections. The process typically takes about thirty minutes.
Your post-injection recovery time will be minimal. It requires waiting for the local anesthesia to wear off.
Your provider will discuss your expectations again and offer advice regarding your specific case. You will be asked to avoid heavy exercise or stress and get lots of rest. Depending on the severity of your condition, your body may take weeks or months to fully regenerate.
You'll need to schedule follow-up appointments to document your progress, note your results, and monitor your general health.
Depending on what condition/conditions you're treating, your muscle, tissue or nerve function will return gradually within 6-12 weeks. Results tend to improve further for 6-12 months following your procedure. As with any treatment, results vary based on your age, genetics, general health, stress levels, environmental factors, and follow up care.
Novus Anti-Aging Center's innovative Mesenchymal Stem Cell treatment applies stem cells to help your body manage tissue damage and biochemical changes that come naturally with age.
Our unique, evidence-based therapy may help prevent damage and disease, no matter what stage of senescence you find yourself in.
